Freshly Brewed!

Here, we share the latest product updates from Appbrew, along with the lessons we learn from Shopify DTC, growth marketing, product building, and more! For more, check out Brewed Podcast

This edition's updates are focused on making merchandising and design workflows faster and more autonomous. It includes UI editing with Milo agent using image references, scheduled content launches, self-serve cart goals, and theme history/restore capabilities.

We have two new podcast episodes, which cover cross-border growth for brands and how to build a fashion brand in niche categories for women.

Design with Milo using image references

Feature: Milo AI - UI Design

Milo supports image references to generate style blocks in your app.

Instead of multiple rounds of prompting, you can show Milo what you want and get much closer to the desired result in a single iteration.

Why it matters

Less time spent describing changes means faster execution and a smoother workflow for merchandising and design teams.

Schedule experiences around launches and sales

Feature: Block Scheduling

Blocks in the Studio can now be scheduled to appear and disappear at specific times. The perfect setup for flash sales, countdown launches, and seasonal campaigns.

Why it matters

Time-sensitive promotions need time-sensitive execution. You can now prep your app experience days in advance and have it go live, and turn off, automatically.

Set cart goals quickly and easily

Feature: Cart Goals (update)

You can configure single-tier and multi-tier cart goals directly from the Studio. No dev dependency, no waiting.

Why it matters

Cart goals are one of the highest-leverage AOV levers out there. You can experiment faster and unlock more revenue.

Themes publish history for your app

Feature: Theme History & Restore

Every theme you've ever published is now logged in one place; with dates, notes, and a one-click restore option. You can also reschedule or cancel upcoming publishes before they go live.

Why it matters

This acts as a "safety net" for your app's design and configuration. Marketing teams have full transparency into your publishing history and change notes. Your whole team always knows what went live, when, and why - streamlining collaboration.

Brand Spotlight

SUGAR Cosmetics

Switched to Appbrew for a better app experience

“We switched to Appbrew from another app platform that had persistent stability and user experience issues. The onboarding was seamless, and our marketing team could immediately take ownership of the app experience without engineering dependency. The impact was measurable: 20% higher AoV and 50% better conversion rate post-migration.”

- Keyur Patel, Senior Engineering Manager, SUGAR Cosmetics

Standard

Built content-led discovery through native videos and tutorials

“Before Appbrew, we tried two other platforms. They just couldn't do what we needed. Since switching, our app converts three times better than our website and the average order value is 50% higher. I think the difference is really, really simple - the right features and a team that's swift and understands business needs.”

- Ann-Kathrin Joos, CEO & Founder, Standard
